Job Summary
We are seeking a Level 2 / 3 technician to join our team. This role will primarily focus on providing advanced on-site technical support, executing managed services tasks, and leading complex projects for our customers, both residential and small businesses. This business technician will have the ability to work independently and be capable of managing advanced technical tasks and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Provide account management for business customersConsult with customers in-store, over the phone, and on-site at their business or residence to provide advanced solutions that best fit their needsMaintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all timesPerform advanced PC hardware and software troubleshooting, repair, and maintenanceExecute data recovery, loss prevention, and advanced network installation tasksAdminister Microsoft 365 environments, including user management, security settings, and application configurationManage and maintain Active Directory and Azure AD environmentsWork with cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform to implement and support customer solutionsPlan and execute productivity suite migrations, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transitions for customersScope, design, and implement network infrastructure projects, including LAN, WAN, and wireless solutionsConduct security and risk assessments for customer environments, recommending and implementing appropriate solutionsUtilize PSA (Professional Services Automation) and RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tools to monitor, manage, and resolve alerts and issuesCollaborate with Level 1 technicans, providing mentoring, guidance, and support when neededQualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field, or equivalent experienceMinimum of 3 years of experience providing technical support, preferably in a managed services environmentAdvanced knowledge of PC troubleshooting and repair (A+ certification skill set)Proficiency with routers, firewalls, TCP / IP, WAPs, Wireless, and other networking devicesIn-depth knowledge of Windows OS, Windows Server, and experience with Mac and Apple productsFamiliarity with Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Strong communication and customer service skillsValid driver's license and clean driving recordPreferred
Network+, Security+, CCNA, ACMT, MCSE, or other relevant certificationsLinux ExperienceExperience in a managed services environmentBenefits / Perks
