About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Manager – Technology to support a major financial services client. This role drives large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong delivery discipline, deep payments domain knowledge, and exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of multi-stakeholder, global platform initiatives.
- Partner with engineering, product, operations, and compliance to align on program goals and execution.
- Drive programme governance, risk management, and executive reporting.
- Translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes for senior leadership.
- Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
- Champion change adoption across global teams and ensure seamless communication.
Must-Have Qualifications (Top 5)
1. Proven Leadership in Complex, Multi-Stakeholder Environments
Experience leading large-scale, global platform initiatives.Strong ability to influence engineering, product, compliance, and executive / C-suite stakeholders.2. Strategic Delivery & ROI Accountability
Demonstrated success delivering high-value programs with measurable ROI.Expertise in business cases, cost-benefit analysis, and financial target accountability.3. Payments Expertise
Strong understanding of payments ecosystems, settlement, merchant acquiring, tokenization, and compliance.Experience with modern technology stacks (APIs, cloud migration, microservices).4. Governance, Risk & Compliance Excellence
Deep knowledge of program governance frameworks (e.g., Agile).Strong vendor / third-party risk and regulatory management experience.5. Change Leadership & Communication
