LDI Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for processing weekly payroll, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and serving as a key point of contact for payroll-related inquiries.
- Accurately process weekly payroll for all employees in a timely manner
- Review and verify employee timesheets; resolve discrepancies by working directly with department managers and supervisors
- Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, employee information changes, and location transfers
- Process employee reimbursements, bonuses, and timekeeping reports on a weekly basis
- Prepare, compile, and distribute payroll-related reports as needed
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries from managers and employees
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
- Perform accounting tasks related to payroll, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare and distribute year-end W-2 statements in accordance with legal requirements
- Assist with other payroll or accounting projects as assigned
Requirements :
Proven experience in payroll administration or a related accounting functionStrong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirementsProficiency with payroll software and Microsoft ExcelExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage confidential information with discretionStrong communication and problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge of Paylocity payroll is a plusKnowledge of Busybusy Timekeeping software a plus
