Job Description

To work with Suppliers to schedule and expedite material for delivery at the right time to achieve the production schedule and the customer requirements. Actioning daily exception messages, maintaining system parameters and ensuring deliveries are received on time in full whilst maintaining the optimum levels of inventory.

• Responsible for actioning all MRP exception messages on a daily basis.
• Review ERP recommendations to prepare, validate and schedule purchase orders to achieve optimal level of material availability.
• Utilise inventory tools and techniques to ensure right sizing of inventory availability.
• Manage inventory levels and check for any potential risks to supply, escalate to Supply Chain Engineer (Supplier) and support with the action plan to recovery.
• Manage inventory levels and escalate any concerns with potential overstocks.
• Build relationships with suppliers ensuring the deliveries are received on time in full, participating in Supplier On Time
