Description

Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is seeking a Developer to join our team for a long-term project supporting a US government civil agency program.

This remote role has duties and responsibilities that will include, but not be limited to :

  • Participating in the design of software tools and subsystems to support reuse and domain analysis.
  • Assisting Applications Engineer and Applications Programmer to interpret software requirements and design specifications to code and integrate and test software components.

Requirements

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.

Candidate must have a Public Trust (or higher) clearance and undergo NACI (National Agency Check with Inquiries) Investigation

Candidate must have at least 5 years' experience in the following :

  • Assisting in the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of new software and enhancements of existing applications.
  • Using Angular framework in TypeScript, Java Spring Boot, Google Cloud SQL.
  • Interpreting requirements and ensuring application designs meet business requirements.
  • Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Cypress or Selenium E2E testing
  • Jest (or similar) component testing
  • JUnit Java testing knowledge
  • K8s (Kubernetes)
  • Work Environment

    Office environment. Requires ability to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication, both verbally and in writing (100%). Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, and client (100%). Occasional business travel may be required. Only requested and approved expenses will be covered by ANR.
