Piper Companies is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join an award-winning, technology-driven insurance company located in Durham, NC through a hybrid work schedule . The Full Stack Engineer will design and implement REST APIs and UIs, enhance software efficiency, troubleshoot issues, and develop testing frameworks.

Responsibilities of the Full Stack Engineer include :

  • Design and implement robust REST APIs and dynamic application UIs.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks to enhance software efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Contribute to the development of unit tests and automated testing frameworks.
  • Produce clear and detailed documentation for both internal teams and external clients.

Qualifications for the Full Stack Engineer include :

  • 2-5 years as a Full Stack Engineer.
  • Proficient in languages such as Node.js, and Java (version 8+)
  • Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks, preferably ReactJS and TypeScript.
  • Proven experience in creating REST APIs from scratch and working with microservices architecture.
  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must work onsite 3 days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

    • Compensation for the Full Stack Engineer include :

  • 70,000 - 110,000
  • Comprehensive benefit package : Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Holiday, PTO, and Sick Leave if required by law.
