Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Human Resources Manager (Bilingual, Food Manufacturing) to join their team. As a Human Resources Manager (Bilingual, Food Manufacturing), you will be part of the HR department supporting site leadership and employees. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title : Human Resources Manager (Bilingual, Food Manufacturing)
Location : Newburyport, MA
Pay Range : $100,000 - $125,000 Yearly
Shift : Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (flexibility to stay later when needed)
What's the Job?
Oversee and manage HR functions to ensure effective execution, consistency, and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
Serve as the primary HR contact for site leadership and employees by providing support, advice, and coaching to foster a positive organizational culture.
Handle a wide range of HR matters independently, including employee relations, performance management, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
Manage and administer performance review and goal-setting processes aligned with organizational objectives.
Develop staffing plans, lead hourly recruiting efforts, and coordinate with corporate talent acquisition for salaried hiring needs.
What's Needed?
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
5+ years of progressive HR experience, including generalist and management responsibilities in a manufacturing or fast-paced environment.
Proven experience managing employee relations, performance management, recruiting, onboarding, and compliance independently.
Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, OSHA).
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
