Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be a part of the MEP Technology Design team , of the . Southbased in Orlando, Florid aoffice and have the opportunity to work on the design and specification of structured cabling systems, audio / visual systems, security systems and other Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills are required. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in support of multiple projects is essential.
• Ability to work virtually and communicate efficiently across geographies with multiple project teams.
• Basic understanding and knowledge of the following : Low Voltage Systems Building Construction means and methods
• Ability to attend in-house coordination meetings and discuss design requirements with other engineers with input from Engineers.
• REVIT and AutoCAD proficient.
• Develop equipment room sizes during SD and DD phases with input from Engineers.
• Prepare calculations of equipment electrical loads and cooling loads with input from Engineers.
• Prepare floor plans showing low voltage device layouts, cable pathways, equipment, etc. with input from Engineers.
• Prepare system riser diagrams with input from Engineers.
• Understand and properly apply existing exp details relevant to projects
• Understand work planning and manage design process to the available hours in the work plan.
