Job Summary :
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Agent for a full-time position in Waco, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing vendors, placing orders, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies. Key Responsibilities :
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery times
- Place purchase orders and track order status to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory
- Monitor stock levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate supply
- Work closely with production and warehouse teams to meet material needs
- Resolve issues related to delayed shipments or defective goods
- Negotiate with vendors to secure the best pricing and terms
- Maintain vendor relationships and evaluate vendor performance
