A partner of Insight Global is looking for an experienced Night Shift Production Supervisor to join their fast-growing team. The production supervisor will be part of a Manufacturing organization. This individual will play a key role in ensuring that our production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a clean room manufacturing environment with high volume production. The Production Supervisor is responsible for the safe, consistent daily operation of the production of Photovoltaic cells following required quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Directs and coordinates activities of associates to achieve daily manufacturing objectives and maximize operational efficiency and profits.
- Responds to production issues by pursuing and implementing solutions.
- Direct a team of process operators and technicians to achieve daily manufacturing objectives.
- Responsible for organizing and directing work assignments for all employees.
- Ensure that all safety, quality, and other manufacturing and engineering procedures are implemented and followed by enforcing productivity, quality, cost, and customer standards.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities consistent with company objectives.
- Identify and coordinate training opportunities to develop and maintain a motivated and capable team.
- Mentor and develop team members by providing associate coaching and development.
- Conduct performance reviews and participate in continuing evaluations of all shift personnel.
- Responsible for ensuring that all finished products are within quality specifications.
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping, safety, and quality are maintained, including the 5S system.
- Lead the investigation of the First Report of Injury if an employee is injured on the job.
- Coordinate employees' paid time off and maintain accurate timekeeping for employees.
- Monitor employees attendance and take corrective action based on company policy.
- Responsible for monitoring and ensuring that the overall workflow of the lines and manufacturing processes cycle times are being met.
- Responsible for utilizing support teams to troubleshoot production issues as they arise by finding the root cause and putting corrective actions in place to ensure the issue is resolved promptly.
- Generate production reports and other required daily paperwork.
- Coordinate with other supervisors and departments on day-to-day activities and issues.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
5 years of experience in a manufacturing production setting.4+ years of experience in a supervisory leadership role.Experience working in a chemical, photovoltaic or semiconductor manufacturing enviromentRequired Skills

Experience in Photovoltaic or other Semiconductor manufacturing preferred.Permanent Direct Hire Opportunity : $80,000-85,000 per year with a shift differential. There is also bonus eligibility for this role.
