Overview - Home Health Aide / CNA

Schedule : Monday - Friday, (alt weekends)

Times : 7 : 00 pm - 7 : 00 am

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide or CNA to provide essential care to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work independently while following care plans established by healthcare professionals.

Duties

Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Help with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals.
Monitor and document clients' health status, including vital signs and any changes in condition.
Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers regarding client needs.
Complete medical documentation accurately, adhering to medical terminology standards.

Experience

Previous experience in home community care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is highly desirable.

Familiarity with medical records management and documentation practices is beneficial.

Knowledge of long-term care principles and practices is a plus.

Ability to understand and apply medical terminology in daily tasks.

A background in caregiving that includes skills such as catheter care is advantageous.

Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.

Must be reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently while following established care plans.
