The Cost Accounting Manager is a hands-on role with a key focus on managing cost accounting activities. In this position, you’ll be responsible for analyzing cost structures, supporting operational decision-making, and ensuring the integrity of financial data related to costs. This role does not include direct report management but will offer an exciting chance to make a direct impact within the organization.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Perform detailed cost analysis and variance reporting to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain and manage cost accounting systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop standard costs and budgets.
- Prepare cost reports and summaries for leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor inventory valuation, manufacturing costs, and overhead allocations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and company policies.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Management.Proven experience in cost accounting, preferably within manufacturing environments.Strong understanding of pricing analysis, inventory reconciliation, and finished goods accounting.Proficiency in Oracle or similar financial management systems.Excellent analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to financial reporting.Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and present findings.Familiarity with food manufacturing processes is highly desirable.Ability to adapt to fast-paced and evolving industry demands.
