GDIT's Employee Relations Team has an opening for an Employee Relations Partner . In this role, you will be a key contributor to a world-class center of excellence team within our Human Resources division.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT :
- Conducts confidential internal workplace investigations and performance, conduct and workforce analysis reviews
- Maintains accurate and timely case documentation by documenting findings in case management system
- Effectively communicates investigative findings in written justifications and summaries
- Completes analysis of data, partners with stakeholders, engages with Corporate Legal to provide recommendations to mitigate risk
- Provides consultation on employee relations matters to organizational stakeholders and recommends disciplinary action and / or appropriate resolution
- Assists managers in preparing for employee conversations, the preparation of corrective action documents and prepares and coordinates off-boarding documents and related activities for involuntary separations
- Collaborates with Human Resources leadership to facilitate activities to positively enhance the GDIT employee experience by proactively addressing employee relations issues
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED :
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related experienceALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION for Bachelor's Degree : 6+ years of related Human Resources experienceOne year minimum experience conducting workplace investigationsSkilled in Human Resources and employment law principlesExperience interacting with all levels of employees on employee relations issuesExperience consulting on multiple employee relations issues that vary in scope and complexityAbility to manage a high volume of employee relations casesHighly refined written and verbal communication skillsStrong conflict resolution skillsAbility to work effectively in a virtual team environmentAbility to maintain high level of confidentiality regarding employee informationSuperior analytical and problem solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and virtual tools such as Zoom / Skype / Microsoft TeamsPreferred Qualifications :
Experience in a federal contracting environmentLocation : Hybrid : at least 3 days / week or more onsite
