Summary

SUMMARY OF POSITION :

The Transfer Station Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment at a transfer station for the purpose of transferring, spreading, covering, loading and compacting waste.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

1.Maintain a clean and organized work environment both inside and outside the facility

plant responsibility to include proper use of lighting, dust control and ventilation systems

that commodities are loaded, transported and stored in an efficient and timely manner

4.Observe and report any potential malfunctions or disruptions of plant activities

5.Observe and report sub-standard service level of contracted manpower and equipment

maintain current applicable licenses with regard to operating equipment

• Maintain and operate designated equipment used in the Transfer Station
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
