About the Role :

The Network and Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and improving network infrastructure, ensuring system performance, scalability, security and reliability. This role involves working with the IT Platforms team to design, implement, manage and troubleshoot network and system solutions, ensuring efficient operations and continuing to deliver on minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide exceptional technical support for Senior Management working in the Lumivero USA Corporate Head Offices, located in Denver, CO.
  • Maintain Lumivero cloud-based server infrastructure, including network interconnects, virtual firewalls and email systems.
  • Administer and improve security and antivirus solutions, continuing to protect the organization's network infrastructure, virtual servers and endpoint devices.
  • Monitor and remediate network connectivity and performance, identifying and resolving issues. Implement best-practice measures to ensure high availability and uptime of Lumivero internal application resources.
  • Work with our external Managed Services Provider in resolving escalated IT Service Tickets in a timely manner.
  • Document configurations, processes, and best practices to support maintainability and knowledge sharing across teams.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as a Senior Systems Administrator, including experience with implementation and administration in a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Ability to analyze complex network issues, troubleshoot problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, as well as independently.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in network design, configuration, and documentation.
  • Expert understanding and adherence with GDPR and SOC2 compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with the operational challenges and integration needs of merged or multi-entity organizations is highly desirable.
