Position Overview
The Illinois Department of Public Health is seeking a highly motivated detailed oriented individual to serve as a Regional Trainer in the Training and Technical Division. This individual will provide training on long-term care facility survey process related to determining compliance with federal Medicare / Medicaid certification requirements and state licensure requirements for the designated regional area. Serves as mentor for new hires providing hands-on training and education both in the office and field. Ensures standardization throughout the training program. Participates in the development and revision of training curriculum. Assists with developing and revising policies and procedures to ensure standardization consistency and efficiency of survey activities. Plans and coordinates trainings in the regional office.
