OBGYN - Hospitalist - Silver Spring, MD

The Obstetrician and Gynecologist Hospitalist is responsible for providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient clinical services to obstetrics and gynecology patients at Holy Cross Hospital . The role requires expertise and experience in the care of obstetrics and gynecology patients, adherence to all Trinity Health perinatal guidelines, and support of Holy Cross Hospital's perinatal safety initiatives.

Physicians applying for this role are expected to be board-certified or attain Board Certification within 5 years of eligibility and demonstrate a commitment to high-quality care, effective resource utilization, and a high level of patient satisfaction. The physician must hold licensure in the State of Maryland and be a member of the Medical Staff of Holy Cross Hospital. Will be responsible for some Resident and PA supervision, instruction and oversight.

Responsibilities :

• Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient clinical services to obstetrics and gynecology patients.
• Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Local health care regulations, as well as the Joint Commission standards.
• Practice evidence-based medicine and adhere to Trinity Health perinatal guidelines, policies, and protocols.
• Demonstrate a high level of patient satisfaction and effective resource utilization.
• Collaborate with certified nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care.
• Participate in quality, risk, and utilization review processes.
• Supervise and teach residents and other learners within the hospital.
• Support and promote Holy Cross Hospital's perinatal safety initiatives.
• Uphold and support the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.

Required :

Pay range : Commensurate with experience $61.25-$140.00
