Summary :
The Rad-IS Systems Engineer is responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and improving Rad-IS Informatics infrastructure. This role provides advanced technical support for Rad-IS workstations and clinical applications, managing hardware, software, and network configurations. The engineer also leads technical projects and serves as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
Responsibilities :
Maintain, monitor, and improve Rad-IS Informatics hardware, software, and clinical applications
Provide first, second, and third-level support for Rad-IS workstations, troubleshooting complex technical issues
Independently determine approaches to problem-solving and system improvement strategies
Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to resolve technical issues
Participate in technical projects and system upgrades as assigned
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of user support experience
2+ years of experience with SQL database / server / systems administration
Knowledge of Active Directory, Windows 10, and Rad-IS Informatics clinical applications
Familiarity with DICOM and HL7 preferred
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks under pressure, and handle frequent interruptions
Industry certifications required or must be enrolled within 12 months
