About The Position

Job Title : Cardiovascular Technician

Profession : Cardiovascular Tech

Shift : 8 hour shift

Hours per Shift : 40 hours per week

Experience : Prefer one year experience in cardiovascular non-invasive and invasive procedures

License : Licensure as a Registered Radiology Technologist in the State of Maryland

Certifications : ACLS certification within 18 months of hire; Must maintain BLS and ACLS competency every two years

Must-Have : Demonstrates personal responsibility for maintaining a satisfactory attendance record; Works schedule as required for daily operation of the lab; On call rotation; Rotational coverage of holidays; Expected to work additional weekends in times of staffing shortages and emergencies; Expected to respond in the event of a disaster

Description :

The primary function of a Cardiovascular Technician is to assist with care of patients undergoing diagnostic and / or interventional cardiology procedures.

Additional duties may include assisting with the preparation of patients for procedures and monitoring their condition during and after procedures.

The role requires effective communication skills to work with patients and other healthcare professionals.
