Head of Engineering

We’re looking for a Head of Engineering to build and scale Dose’s technology function from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to join at an inflection point : our product is taking off, our customer base is expanding, and we’re ready to modernize our stack and systems for scale.

What You’ll Do

Build & lead the team : Hire, grow, and mentor engineers, product managers, designers, and QA / QC.

Own the stack : Oversee our end-to-end tech ecosystem — from Shopify and custom apps to logistics and back-office tools.

Ship fast & scale smart : Balance speed with reliability, building for today’s needs while architecting for growth.

Collaborate cross-functionally : Partner with brand, ops, marketing, and finance to ensure our tech drives business outcomes.

Set vision & culture : Create a culture of ownership, experimentation, and technical excellence.

What You’ll Bring

10+ years in software engineering or product, including 5+ in technical leadership.

Experience scaling tech orgs in CPG, e-commerce, or startup environments .

Strong technical foundation and Hands-on experience with modern web stacks and cloud infrastructure.

Proven ability to recruit, inspire, and grow high-performing teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — you make complex tech simple.

Startup mindset : bias toward action, comfort with ambiguity, and willingness to wear multiple hats.

We Work flexibly — but connection matters. This is a hybrid role : mostly remote, with monthly Travel to Miami for team sessions, offsites, or Company Meetings.

Base Salary : \$220,000 – \$240,000 (depending on Experience, location, and skills)

Performance Bonus : Based On company and individual goals

Final pay Will depend on your background, Expertise, and where You live.
