Utility Billing Clerk

Key Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile utility billing transactions, cash receipts, and customer payments
- Audit and review billing records for accuracy and compliance
- Prepare journal entries and assist with monthly / annual financial closings
- Address customer inquiries regarding utility accounts, rates, and billing arrangements
- Track deposits, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely posting to accounts
- Support budget preparation and monitoring for the Utility Billing Division
- Assist with annual audit preparation and special projects
- Provides technical assistance to resolve system software issues
