About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations for our passenger transportation services. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of transportation logistics, and the ability to coordinate staff, vehicles to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused service delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage daily transportation operations, including driver scheduling, dispatching, and route optimization.
- Oversee personnel management and support staff.
- Collaborate with the finance department to maximize revenue and control labor expenses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate operational records, schedules, and performance reports.
- Support the coordination and transportation of wheelchair and mobility-assisted passengers.
- Utilize computer systems for scheduling, route planning, and reporting.
- Apply strong knowledge of Jacksonville, FL geography to improve routing efficiency and customer service.
Qualifications :
Minimum 3 years of experience in passenger transportation management or related field.Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, scheduling, and logistics software).Proven skills in personnel management, operations, and logistics.Knowledge of wheelchair transportation procedures and ADA compliance preferred.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.Strong financial awareness and experience managing budgets or operational costs.Familiarity with Jacksonville, FL and surrounding areas required.About Community Rehabilitation Center :
