We are seeking a Municipal Water / Wastewater Hydraulic Modeling Project Manager for our team in Smyrna, GA. The responsibilities of this role will involve various projects in the following areas :

  • Hydraulic modeling of water distribution systems
  • Planning and evaluation of pumping and storage systems
  • Water quality assessments
  • Water loss studies
  • Hydraulic modeling of wastewater collection systems
  • Inflow and infiltration analyses
  • Lift station evaluations
  • Water supply planning
  • Management of conveyance systems

Key responsibilities will include :

  • Leading and supporting planning studies
  • Managing project scope, schedule, and quality
  • Participating in client workshops
  • Mentoring junior staff
  • Coordinating with project managers and client service managers
  • Supporting business development activities

    • The ideal candidate must be able to :

  • Demonstrate technical proficiency in water / wastewater engineering
  • Manage project delivery from start to finish
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ensure work product quality and project accounting accuracy
  • Lead project management and quality control activities

    • Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in civil, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or mechanical engineering. MS preferred
  • Minimum of five years of experience in water and wastewater engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain it within six months
  • Experience with hydraulic modeling software
  • Excellent communication skills

    • Location : Smyrna, GA. This role may require periodic travel for projects, conferences, and other business needs. Benefits :
