About the Opportunity :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to join our quality assurance team on 2nd shift. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality systems, experience with precision measuring instruments, and the ability to work collaboratively with production teams to uphold quality standards.

Location : Newburyport, MA. This position is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities :

Perform calibration of hand tools per documented procedures.

• Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform accurate measurements.
• Analyze inspection results and document findings in accordance with established procedures.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols, including HACCP, CGMP, and QA / QC practices.
• Inspect products using various inspection gages, scales, and visual inspection prior to product shipment Use of hand tools.
• Perform complex geometric layout inspection using standard variable gaging and relative mathematics.
• Verification of certifications and testing of incoming raw materials Function as Designated Quality Representative for various customers to release products for shipment.
• Examine material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and other surface irregularities.
• Compare product with applicable parts list or sample model to ensure completion of assembly.
• Verify dimensional compliance of all products with drawing and customer requirements.
• Perform in-process inspection and testing of products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with all applicable mechanical and process related requirements.
• Process understanding to ensure final acceptance / compliance.

Compensation :

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $20-26 hourly. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, and geographic location.
