job_description.job_card.job_descriptionLead and oversee networks, including setup and programming of switches, routers, firewalls, virtual environments, and security. Administer and maintain LAN / WAN , wireless networks, and enterprise security protocols. Manage IT vendors and contractors for network and applicable security services. Plan and implement IT projects , including network upgrades, patching, cybersecurity initiatives, and network expansions. Support disaster recovery planning and data backup strategies . Ensure compliance with network security standards and industry best practices. Work closely with the Senior Systems Administrator on companywide projects. Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT infrastructure with organizational goals . Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems , Network Operations, a related field or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years). Proven experience in network administration, cybersecurity, and IT project management . Hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory, VMware, Cisco routers, switches, and data networking . Strong leadership and vendor management skills. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be on-call for IT emergencies. Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle, and insurable driving record .
