Refugee Health Navigator

Reporting to the State Grants Manager, the Health Navigator will establish and maintain strong working relationships between the resettlement agency and refugee support services' s multidisciplinary team and a wide range of health partners to ensure effective health service provisions. It will guide the case managers and community connectors to remove barriers to ensure the client's long-term independence and access to preventive care, primary care, and any necessary specialty care. It is responsible for ensuring that refugees and other Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) eligible populations complete mandatory medical screenings and have appropriate access to health services. Global Refuge, formerly known as Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS), is a nonprofit serving newcomers seeking safety, support, and a share in the American dream.
