Medical Oncology / Hematologist Practice Hematology and Medical Oncology with a National Leader in Connecticut Hartford HealthCare (HHC), the most comprehensive integrated healthcare system in Connecticut, invites Hematology and Medical Oncology physicians to practice alongside nationally respected colleagues in a progressive, physician led environment. Positions are available in general hematology-oncology practice as well sub-specialty focused practice in hematology and medical urologic oncology. The Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute is comprised of a team of more than 40 medical oncologists who are local and national leaders in their fields. Many of our physicians have advanced sub-specialty training, and are backed by a full team of interdisciplinary medical and surgical specialists across the system of care. The Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute sees more than 7,000 analytic cases / year. In 2014, HHC and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) formed a strategic partnership whose mission is to accelerate the transfer of knowledge from academic medical centers to community healthcare. In addition to adopting MSK standards of care, we collaborate on clinical trials and research in a variety of health services research areas such as geriatric oncology, palliative care and medical informatics.
