Salary : Position Summary

The Project Support I role is an entry-level position designed for individuals with a foundational understanding of technology and a willingness to learn. This position provides hands-on training while supporting a wide range of IT and low-voltage installation projects. You will work closely with the Project Support Manager and other team members to install, configure, and maintain various systems at client sites, ensuring a professional, efficient, and customer-focused experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure firewalls, desktops, laptops, and servers.
  • Set up and configure VOIP phone systems.
  • Perform data migrations and serverless migrations.
  • Install and configure wireless access points and point-to-point systems.
  • Assist in VLAN configurations for networks.
  • Set up and configure cameras and access control systems.
  • Complete basic wiring and cabling tasks.
  • Prep and stage equipment for upcoming projects.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on-site and in the office.
  • Provide professional customer service and clear communication during client interactions.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including ladder use and lifting practices.

Qualifications

Required :

  • Basic technical knowledge of computer hardware, networking, or related systems.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable using ladders, lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs), and working in tight spaces.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Preferred :

  • CompTIA Network+ or A+ certification.
  • Previous experience in IT support, low-voltage wiring, or related fieldwork.
  • Work Environment & Schedule

  • Primary Location : Field work at client sites, with some office-based preparation. Limited Remote Work.
  • Schedule : Standard business hours (MondayFriday).
  • On-Call Availability : Optional, with additional pay opportunities.
  • Travel : No overnight travel required.
