Summary :

We are representing a reputable and growing construction company specializing in commercial, institutional, and public works projects. With a proven track record of delivering high-quality builds on time and within budget, this company is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support project teams from preconstruction through closeout. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse, large-scale projects while contributing to the company’s continued success.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish

Prepare, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders

Maintain and update project schedules and budgets in collaboration with project managers

Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance

Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely project progress

Monitor field work to maintain quality standards and adherence to project specifications

Manage project documentation, logs, and reports for accuracy and accessibility

Support procurement activities, including material ordering and vendor communications

Attend project meetings, document discussions, and follow up on action items

Ensure all project activities adhere to safety guidelines and company policies

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred

2–5 years of experience in commercial or public works construction as a Project Engineer or similar role

Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents

Familiarity with budgeting, scheduling, and cost control processes

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
