Estimating Assistant

Overview

We are hiring for a full-time Estimating Assistant to work on site in our Benicia CA office.

American Civil Constructors West Coast(ACCW) established in 1987 is a Heavy Civil Construction company. We are qualified to bid and perform work for State DOTs and City & County Public Works agencies all over the United States.

This is a non-union staff level position and is part of the Estimating Department.

Responsibilities

• Perform and log regular Nationwide Bid Searches and present potential projects for bid; download new Project Plans & Specs
• Review plans and specifications for required bid data
• Maintain company bid list and ensure all pre-bid tasks are completed
• Request bid bonds and ensure theyre received timely and correctly
• Draft paper bid documents and prepare for submittal
• Run Post-Bid Estimating Reports in our Estimating software
• Maintain detailed historical bidding data
• Locate and track potential upcoming projects
