Join Our Team as a Locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon in Mishawaka IN

We are seeking a dedicated Locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our hospital-based practice in Mishawaka Indiana. Starting in December 2025 you will have the opportunity to engage in a rewarding position working alongside a skilled team in a facility equipped with 16 operating rooms and an annual ER volume of 45K.

This practice focuses on providing exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients with an average of 5-6 procedures weekly including both cardiac and thoracic surgeries. You will collaborate with a supportive ancillary staff ensuring optimal patient outcomes throughout your coverage period from December 22 to January 5 with potential for ongoing sporadic coverage.

Job Responsibilities :

• Perform adult cardiac and general thoracic surgeries.
• Conduct procedures such as CABG arterial revascularization and redo coronary revascularization.
• Manage tube thoracostomy and pericardial window procedures.
• Execute thoracic surgery procedures including thoracotomy lung biopsy and chest wall reconstruction.
• Perform heart valve repair / replacement surgeries.
