Registered Behavior Technician

We are searching for a Registered Behavior Technician — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will ensure the safety of patients at risk of harm to self or others, under the direction and supervision of the Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA). Care will be delivered incorporating principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and Family Centered Care, in a cost-effective manner and is developmental and age-appropriate for the patient population.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Sociology, or other related degree required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required through American Heart Association
• RBT Certification - Registered Behavior Technician (obtained within 30 days of entering the role
• Crisis prevention certification preferred
• 1 year experience with implementing Applied Behavior Analysis principles with patients with Autism or Intellectual Disability preferred
• Must sign attached Attestation if the BLS Certification and / or RBT license is not active prior to entering this role.
