Security Automation Engineer

Piper Companies  is looking for an experienced Security Automation Engineer  to join a growing organization in Boston, MA . This is a hybrid role (4 days per week on site).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and automate security incident response workflows and playbooks using Python.
• Develop advanced security use-cases and simulate complex attack scenarios to test and improve the platform.
• Work directly with clients to field technical requests, address incident response needs, and support platform integration.
• Research threat intelligence and past incidents to enhance AI-driven automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams to shape product features and improve system capabilities.
• Contribute to training AI models by coding IR playbooks that integrate into the RAG-based cybersecurity platform.
