Physical Therapist Job Details

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2150–$2310 per week

Assignment Type : Locum tenens (Travel Physical Therapist)

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 32 per week

Expected Hours : 40 per week

Shift : 10-hour days (7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM)

On-Call & Weekends : Schedule determined by facility

Physical Therapist Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient Physical Therapist experience (required)

Active Arizona Physical Therapist license (must be verified within 30 days of submission)

Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required)

Prior travel physical therapy experience preferred

Flu vaccination required (declinations may be considered)

No license hits; must not have an Arizona home address on driver's license

Compliance with facility-specific background and healthcare requirements

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality inpatient physical therapy services to a diverse patient population

Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized physical therapy treatment programs

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records

Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled by the facility

Adapt to various hospital departments, including Women's Health, Vestibular, Pelvic Rehab, and Management as needed
