Job Title : Assistant / Associate Scientist

Location : East Syracuse, NY

Job Summary :

We are seeking a motivated Assistant / Associate Scientist to join our bioprocess development team in East Syracuse, NY. In this hands-on laboratory role, you will support upstream and downstream development activities, including mammalian cell culture, chromatography purification, and process optimization. You will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the development and delivery of life-changing therapies.

Job Responsibilities :

Operate, clean, and maintain lab equipment; prepare media, buffers, and reagents.

Maintain and expand mammalian cell lines using aseptic techniques.

Conduct chromatography purification experiments.

Document experimental data, verify results, and prepare study protocols and reports.

Assist in preparing, storing, packaging, and shipping cell lines and samples.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and design scale-down studies.

Skills Required :

Experience with bioreactors and mammalian cell culture is a plus.

Familiarity with purification techniques like chromatography and filtration is preferred.

Degree in Biological or Chemical Sciences / Engineering or related field.

Strong documentation and data verification skills.

Ability to work occasional nights and weekends.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
