About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Public Sector to join their dynamic team. This strategic P&L role is pivotal in driving the growth and success of the company's public sector business. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team that focuses on technical staffing, SOW, and project solutions, with a strong emphasis on the SLED and Federal space. Day-to-day activities will include leading by example, building client relationships, managing a healthy P&L, and owning revenue and growth targets. The role also involves leading, coaching, and mentoring the business development team, establishing executive-level relationships, and driving market expansion. The VP will be expected to oversee the entire process, identify efficiency gaps, and work with management to develop processes that align with the organization's goals. Candidates for this role should have a proven track record of at least 15 years in the public sector tech solutions and staffing industry, with a minimum of 10 years in operations and P&L management. Technical and professional sales, staffing, recruiting, or related experience in the public sector space is essential. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, goal-oriented, organized, dedicated, and driven, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and the ability to generate new business. Experience in negotiating with government clients, formulating revenue strategies, and a background in leading a diverse team are also key requirements. The role demands a self-driven individual with a professional demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
