Temporary Cheer, Stunt, and Dance Coach

Primary Purpose of Position

This individual will be responsible for building a high-quality, well respected and nationally-recognized competitive Stunt, Dance and Cheer program including both mascots. In addition to the overall

administration of the cheer program, it is the Coach’s responsibility to foster and encourage goals of student-athletes, stress the elements of sportsmanship and fair play. The Coach is responsible

for preparing the stunt, dance and cheerleading team for events and / or competition and for motivating athletes to develop an appreciation for the sport. The Coach will uphold the mission and vision

of the University through appropriate role modeling, ethical behavior and decision-making, active engagement of students in the life and values of the athletic department. The Coach will be

responsible for adherence to all University procedures, rules, regulations, and policies. achievement that prepares them for leadership and service in regional, national and global communities, the department of athletics provides a comprehensive program of intercollegiate competition

as an integral part of the total educational experience for all students.

Knowledge and Coaching skills for stunt, dance, and cheer or
