job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPosition is based in a Med / Surg Oncology unit No drips or titrate medications are managed on this unit EPIC (Beacon) is used for electronic charting Port competency experience is important for the role Responsibilities include the care of oncology patients in a Med / Surg setting Must be willing to discuss the assignment and department with radiology leadership prior to placement Must be able to provide documentation of port competency Travelers are required to work 2 out of the 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving) Only one day of time off can be requested from 11 / 26 to 11 / 30 and from 12 / 23 to 1 / 2 Former employees may not be eligible if employed within the last 12 months First-time travelers are accepted with additional oncology experience Active IA or compact state RN license required BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required Minimum of 1 year oncology nursing experience required First-time travelers must have at least 2 years of oncology experience Experience with EPIC (Beacon) charting system strongly encouraged Port competency is required One recent supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
