Are you a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse looking to make a difference in emergency nursing? We are seeking a dedicated RN to join our dynamic Float Pool, providing essential care in the Emergency Department and various clinical settings. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality patient care throughout our facility.

Our renowned Emergency Department is equipped for advanced trauma care and staffed with specially trained professionals ready to respond to any situation.

Accredited Chest Pain Center and Joint Commission Stroke Team

Your Role :

Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive and compassionate care for assigned patients.

Adapt flexibly to patient care assignments across multiple units.

Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.

Document patient care accurately, including assessments, treatments, and educational interactions.

Engage with patients and families to address their psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.

Core Responsibilities :

Perform critical assessments and communicate findings effectively to the healthcare team.

Facilitate seamless patient throughput, considering admission and discharge needs.

Ensure safe and efficient operation within the nursing unit, while mentoring and supporting other staff.

Implement evidence-based practices to promote high-quality care and positive outcomes.

Qualifications :

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

A minimum of 2 years of combined experience in the Emergency Department and one other specialty.

Current RN license in the state of employment or compact required.

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, TNCC required. PALS required within 30 days of hire.

Schedule : 7PM - 7AM

Work Type : Full Time
