We are currently looking for full-time - Senior Accountant

Starting at $80,000 - $87,000; contingent upon experience, education, etc.

Position Summary :

The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for preparing programmatic budgets, invoicing customers, preparing contract documentation, and assisting the Director of Finance with technical accounting, finance, and financial reporting requirements for the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Voucher, record, collect, and apply payments to contracts and accounts receivable.
• Assist with preparation of accounting transactions, including voucher allocation, deposits, cash receipts, one-time journal entries, and invoice preparation.
• Provide backup support for other accounting and financial reporting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and period closings.
• Prepare specialized program cost reports.
• Work to assist with develop of program budgets.
• Conduct accounting and financial analyses.
• Provide technical assistance on accounting, finance, and budgeting matters to management and program development staff.
• Assist with preparation for external audits required by contracts and regulatory bodies.
