The Opportunity

As the Pricing and Packing Senior Manager, you will develop and implement pricing and packaging strategies across the company. You will be responsible for setting, maintaining and monitoring prices for our company’s product and services. You will drive all pricing efforts, including developing new pricing structures and their introduction, analysis of pricing and product performance, modifications to existing offerings, support for customer retention and operational excellence. This role blends analytical expertise with strategic thinking and a deep understanding of market trends and customer / prospect behavior.

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will be a core contributor to building an effective overall market strategy by understanding the market context, competition, technology and other trends, and using this insight to set pricing and packaging strategies. This will include pricing AI components and AI pricing strategy. In addition to forming pricing strategy, you will work closely with cross-functional teams across ELT, product management, sales, customer success, services, finance and legal.

You will leverage your experience with financial modeling, quantitative analytics, and statistical problem-solving skills to create software packages and pricing models to capture new business and retain existing customers in a complex global marketplace.

What You'll Do

  • Continuously monitor trends in sales performance, competition, and the overall market that will lead to recommending improvements to pricing strategies and tactics
  • Develop financial models for packaging and pricing to ensure compelling and competitive positions in market
  • Prepare and present pricing trends and adjusting strategies to reflect market changes and ensure optimal pricing
  • Develop and deliver pricing best practice training and education materials for the business
  • Drive consensus across ELT and key leaders for pricing strategies, owning and driving the Pricing Steering Committee process

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, statistics, marketing, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of pricing experience in a corporate environment, preferable a SaaS software company
  • Financial and business acumen with strong modeling and analysis skills
  • Capacity to make timely decisions, build consensus, and drive execution with a complex subject matter
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
