Setting : Acute Care – Labor & Delivery Unit

Employment Type : Travel Nursing Contract

Start Date : December 6, 2025

End Date : March 7, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift Schedule : 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts / week)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1970 - $2110

Charting System : EpicCare Inpatient EMR

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Registered Nurse) – Indiana or compact state

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and recovery

Monitor patient status and accurately document care using EpicCare EMR

Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Educate and support patients and families during the childbirth process

Respond promptly to emergencies and follow established clinical protocols

Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and staff
