About the Job : The ADS Design Environment group manager will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers working on state-of-the-art electronic design automation products. About the Team : Keysight's industry-leading Advanced Design System (ADS) product is used by top companies across the electronics industry. The ADS Design Environment team is responsible for developing and maintaining the core functionality of the ADS platform, including capabilities relating to layout, schematic capture, and data display. The team is constantly innovating to bring increasingly powerful capabilities to market as we serve to address the evolving design needs of our customers. Responsibilities Responsibilities : Manage the team's software development activities, using Agile principles Work with partners in R&D and Product Planning to develop roadmaps, strategies, and execution plans Interact with customers to understand their needs and overall market trends Foster a culture of innovation, high accountability, and continuous improvement in project execution and team collaboration Guide and mentor individual team members to help them achieve their full potential Meet delivery schedules and market windows Qualifications Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related technical field 5+ years experience managing or leading SW development teams Possess excellent leadership, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills (as Engineering manager, Team Lead, Project Management, Mentorship, Leadership roles) Past experience with software development in languages such as C++ or C Experience with or knowledge of agile software practices Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Proven ability to make decisions quickly and efficiently Experience working with customers and developing deep partnerships Proven ability to adapt to changing product requirements during development and in response to customer needs Experience with mentoring Desired Qualifications : Experience leading, organizing, and tracking project tasks Previous experience managing a high-performing team of software engineers Experience in the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) industry Prior experience / familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, and / or the scientific Python eco-system Exposure to machine learning / artificial intelligence algorithms Careers Privacy Statement
