Description

SAIC is currently seeking a motivated Oracle Database Developer to join our talented team. This role will require strong skills in SQL (bulk collection, windowing functions, analytical SQL) and comfortability with design / development of relational databases.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain PL / SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure performance efficiency.
  • Perform query tuning and database performance optimization.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automation and data processing.
  • Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related performance issues.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices.
  • Work on database design, indexing strategies, and partitioning techniques.
  • Participate in code reviews, system testing, and deployment processes.

  • Qualifications

    Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of database experience.
  • Must have an interim secret clearance
  • Oracle Certified Foundations Associate / Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate Certification strongly desired
  • Strong understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL) to query, manipulate, and update data within databases.
  • Ability to design and implement database structures (schemas) to efficiently store and access data.
  • Ability to identify and address data quality issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Target salary range : $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
