ICU Nurse - Night Shift

Location

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM.

Job Description

The ICU Nurse will provide comprehensive patient care in a critical care environment. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients.
  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members for patient management.
  • Educate patients and their families on care procedures and recovery plans.
  • Document all care activities and patient interactions accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 24 months of current ICU experience.
  • Active certifications in ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • No license hits; must provide an active license.
  • Flu vaccination status required.
