Description :

Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a community hospital.

The nurse will provide care to critically ill patients.

Experience in patient ratio management is essential with a ratio of 2 patients per nurse.

Prior charge experience is preferred.

The ICU unit has a daily census of approximately 4-6 patients.

The registered nurse will be responsible for managing advanced medical equipment and delivering comprehensive patient care.

Key skills include ventilator management, arterial line management, and administering blood products.

Other duties involve caring for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction as well as renal failure.

Knowledge of infection prevention and isolation precautions is important.

Nurses will be expected to assist with the management of both chronic and acute conditions.

Candidates must be compliant with all facility policies and may float to other units as needed.

Completion of assigned training modules during the orientation process is required.

Candidates must provide references to support their application.

A BSN is preferred for this position.
