Job Summary :
We are seeking a driven and strategic New Business Developer to expand our IT staff augmentation services with a specific focus on the Oil & Gas industry . The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT consulting and workforce solutions, combined with existing experience or connections in the Oil & Gas sector. This individual will play a pivotal role in identifying new client opportunities, building strong industry relationships, and delivering staffing solutions aligned with sector-specific needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute business development strategies tailored to the Oil & Gas industry , targeting both upstream and downstream organizations.
- Identify new prospects and engage decision-makers responsible for IT and engineering staffing needs.
- Promote IT staff augmentation services such as contract, contract-to-hire, and direct placement staffing for roles including software developers, data analysts, infrastructure specialists, cybersecurity professionals, and project managers.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities through networking, industry events, cold outreach, referrals, and online platforms .
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand client staffing requirements and provide industry-relevant solutions .
- Partner with internal recruiting teams to ensure candidate submissions meet client expectations regarding skills, certifications, and experience within Oil & Gas domains.
- Prepare and deliver customized presentations and proposals aligned with client objectives and budget.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms while ensuring mutual value and long-term partnership potential.
- Attend Oil & Gas conferences, trade shows, and association events to grow market presence and brand awareness.
- Stay informed about industry trends, digital transformation initiatives, and workforce needs in the energy sector.
Required Qualifications :
years of business development or sales experience in IT staffing or consulting services .Direct experience working with or selling into the Oil & Gas industry strongly preferred.Understanding of the IT landscape in Oil & Gas, including systems used in exploration, production, operations, and digital transformation.Demonstrated ability to develop new business, manage a full sales cycle , and close high-value deals.Strong interpersonal and consultative skills, with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Proficiency with CRM systems (, Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office tools.Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Preferred Qualifications :
Existing client relationships or network in major Oil & Gas companies, energy service providers, or engineering consultancies.Experience navigating MSP / VMS platforms common in Oil & Gas procurement processes.Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
