Job Description

The Mortgage Consumer Direct Sales Manager will lead the development and growth of First United Bank's Consumer Direct Mortgage Sales channel. This role is responsible for building the platform from the ground up including strategy, staffing, processes, and performance management while driving origination volume through digital and consumer-direct channels. The ideal candidate combines deep mortgage sales expertise with entrepreneurial energy, operational discipline, and a passion for customer experience.

Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Build & Lead the Consumer Direct Channel

Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for Consumer Direct mortgage sales, aligned with enterprise priorities.

Achieve origination targets through proactive pipeline management, conversion optimization, and team accountability.

Ensure the division delivers a consistent, compliant, and customer-centric experience across all digital and phone-based interactions.

Collaborate with senior Mortgage leadership to align Consumer Direct initiatives with First United's growth strategy.
