Location : Home office in Topeka, Olathe or Lawrence. Must be willing to travel to Olathe, Kansas City, KS, Hiawatha and Topeka locations.

Join our team as a Therapeutic Foster Family Coordinator —a vital role that helps ensure safe, stable, trauma-informed placements for youth with emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
You’ll serve as a coach, advocate, and case manager for therapeutic foster families—ensuring they have the tools, guidance, and support needed to succeed. You'll also collaborate closely with internal teams and community partners to ensure safe, stable and trauma-informed placements that promote placement stability for youth.
What You'll Do
Support and guide therapeutic foster families through coaching, crisis response, and care coordination
Ensure foster homes meet licensing standards and maintain compliance
Conduct regular home visits and maintain detailed documentation
Collaborate with case managers, schools, medical providers, and DCF
Lead training, support groups, and recruitment efforts
Be part of a 24 / 7 crisis intervention rotation (on-call)
Education : Bachelor’s degree in a licensable field (Master’s preferred)
Licensure : Kansas BSRB licensure (exceptions may apply for candidates with experience and / or related degrees)
Experience : 2+ years in child welfare, mental health, or therapeutic foster care
Bonus Skills :
Knowledge of trauma-informed care
Strong organizational & crisis intervention skills
Excellent communication & cultural competency
Familiarity with electronic documentation systems
Flexible schedule and a willingness to meet families after hours
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
Extensive travel throughout the region using personal vehicle. Mileage reimbursement available.
