Job Title : Transloading Operator

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Transloading Operator to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient transfer of goods between different modes of transportation, ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

Load and unload cargo from trucks and railcars.
Ability to perform basic paperwork and recordkeeping.
Facilitate and participate in the movement of railcars.
Inspect cargo for damage and report any discrepancies to management.
Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory levels.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues.

Skills and Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or transportation preferred.

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and effectively.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
